Ella is one of the most inspirational and talented interior designers i have been privileged to work with. She has an innate ability to listen to the aspirations and ideas of her customer and applying her special talent, transforms those aspirations in beautiful creations.The results are inevitably a rich mix of effect, impact and ambiance.Ella was one of the top stylists at Laura Ashley for several years,a testimony in itself to her design skills. i would recommend Ella to anyone seeking inspirational interior designs.

Ella was great to work with. I had no clues on how to make my living room into a room that made me want to be at home rather than anywhere else. It didn’t matter to Ella that it was just a small living room that needed doing, she came up with lots of great ideas, mostly not expensive, some outside my comfort zone but proved to be just right. I’d never have got such a fabulous looking, comfortable room on my own.

The decorator she suggested has done a good job. The blinds and lampshades Ella had made, add a touch of class to an ordinary 3-bed house in York. Ella was so inspiring, that since then she has given me ideas for the hall, landing and stairs and they all flow. Ella is now waving her magic wand on my 20 year old, tired kitchen, and it’s also beginning to look fabulous. Having an interior designer is not expensive, not just for the rich and famous with mansions, especially if it’s Ella.

We have worked with Ella over the last 2 years to help us with all elements of the interior design in our new home. Ella was very flexible and worked around our time frame and budget, as well as being available for advice on every aspect of our home. Having never used an Interior Designer before, we were very nervous, but Ella’s friendly and open approach made the whole project exciting. Ella was very good at spotting when we needed help with the delivery of an element to our house and when to just provide some simple suggestions and sending us off to source things ourselves

It is fair to say, that this was a very affordable and rewarding process; knowing we had someone we could simply pick the phone up and talk to about an aspect, or ask Ella to go with us when looking for items in the home; even working with me to restore and reuse old furniture I did not think would fit in my new home.

We will always bring Ella back and ask for her advice when we come to decorate or change anything in our home.
