After the initial contact we will arrange an on-site design consultation.
We will discuss all your main considerations when taking your brief, including your lifestyle, budget & any time constraints.
Each design is tailored to your requirements & to reflect your unique personality.
Together we will browse through my sample books in each room or space we are designing, so that you can see them in situ & how the fabrics, wallpapers & paints reflect in the light of the room ensuring you feel confident with the choices & feel inspired.
After the design consultation I will produce a design pack for you which will be individual to you & your project.
Once you confirm you wish to go ahead, a time frame will be discussed & the services you require will be organised
We offer many services from local crafts men & women as over the 25 years of my career as an Interior Designer I have built up strong relationships with Furniture Designers, Decorators, Kitchen Designers, Seamstresses, Curtain Fitters, Builders, Upholsterers & Artists.

Ella was great to work with. I had no clues on how to make my living room into a room that made me want to be at home rather than anywhere else. It didn’t matter to Ella that it was just a small living room that needed doing, she came up with lots of great ideas, mostly not expensive, some outside my comfort zone but proved to be just right. I’d never have got such a fabulous looking, comfortable room on my own.
The decorator she suggested has done a good job. The blinds and lampshades Ella had made, add a touch of class to an ordinary 3-bed house in York. Ella was so inspiring, that since then she has given me ideas for the hall, landing and stairs and they all flow. Ella is now waving her magic wand on my 20 year old, tired kitchen, and it’s also beginning to look fabulous. Having an interior designer is not expensive, not just for the rich and famous with mansions, especially if it’s Ella.

It is fair to say, that this was a very affordable and rewarding process; knowing we had someone we could simply pick the phone up and talk to about an aspect, or ask Ella to go with us when looking for items in the home; even working with me to restore and reuse old furniture I did not think would fit in my new home.
